Since 2023 is almost upon us, the team at Green Circle Bespoke Glazing have been reflecting on the events of the past year, designing, manufacturing and installing premium aluminium windows and doors in beautiful properties in Plymouth, Devon & Cornwall. At the same time, we have also been looking forward to implementing plans for the new year.
We have been extremely fortunate in that our business has had yet another successful year – this is something we are humbled by, especially with the current economy.
Events of 2022
There have been many events to be proud of during 2022. As a leading manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors, we have worked on several luxurious projects in the South West of England.
This year, we were delighted to be able to launch our new Aluminium Premium Internal Screening System to add to our portfolio. Ideal for partitioning or creating zones in your property with style and elegance without compromising on light, this classy method of making your space work for your home, offers the strength of aluminium whilst maintaining a slim, contemporary look. Complementing our fixed screening, these premium aluminium door options enable you to have a completely bespoke design to suit your requirements.
Further improving on our ‘green ethos’ and sustainability efforts which we are passionate about, we have installed solar panels – creating energy as a renewable source of power. This helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and our carbon footprint. In addition to this, electric vehicle charging points have been installed at our premises, in readiness for our increasing fleet of electric vehicles to transport our windows and doors. Green Circle are keen to promote clean vehicles on Britain’s roads.
Sad Goodbyes and Career Opportunities
The team were sad to say goodbye to one of our fabricators, Gareth Howard, who left us to start a new family in London. Gareth was a valuable member of the team who manufacture our aluminium windows and doors, and we wish him all the best for the future.
Due to this move, we now have a vacancy for an ‘Aluminium Window Fabricator,’ working as part of a team, manufacturing aluminium fenestration including bi-folding and sliding doors, entrance doors and aluminium casement windows. Green Circle Bespoke Glazing – Helping the Local Community
Employees at Green Circle are dedicated to giving back to the local community. This year, some of our staff took part in a walk to raise money for St. Luke’s Hospice in Plymouth – an independent charity which provides specialist care and support for people in the area who have progressive, life-limiting illnesses and those who require end-of-life care.
In keeping with the community spirit, Kylie (Sales & Marketing) is currently mentoring some 6th form students at a local school.
Plans for 2023, Moving Forward…
Exciting times are ahead for us. Apart from continuing to produce superior quality, premium aluminium windows and doors for clients from our purpose-built factory in Plymouth, there are several plans in the pipeline. These include the addition of a new range of standard colours being added to our collection, to give you even more of a selection. There are also ideas being drawn up to introduce a new showroom, which will hopefully go ahead in 2023.
A New Launch
Another launch will be taking place – new systems with even lower u-values than the ones we have now! A u-value is a measurement of thermal transmittance. It determines how much heat from the home is eventually lost through windows and doors – the smaller the value, the more efficient the products are deemed to be. Efficiency is vital to us, as a window and door manufacturer.
FIT Show 2023
The Fabricator and Installer Trade Show is being held in May, at the NEC in Birmingham. The FIT Show is the UK’s only dedicated event for the window, door, hardware and glass industry. Green Circle Bespoke Glazing are looking forward to attending this prestigious event, which is the No. 1 trade show for fenestration.
